for Care, Care for Nature
 An international project to promote intergenerational activities
between elderly and young people in their own neighborhood.
The
project is a response to the growing lack of social cohesion between
young and old, Elderly people are increasingly isolated and often don’t
interact with young people, and young people are increasingly less
involved in their local communities. This can often lead to a range of
problems.
‘Nature
for Care,
Care for Nature’
is based on the experience of Veldwerk Nederland, an environmental
education NGO in the Netherlands and will involve partner organizations
across Europe. Partners will develop activities that involve young and
old learning together in a variety of contexts and using nature and the
environment as a topic.
